Feel the difference

Ford Motor Company has always led the way when it comes to innovation. And when it comes to reducing environmental impact through technology, Ford are equally committed to showing the way – across all areas of the business.

A new range of communications about bio-ethanol (E85) powered vehicles include a TV ad that uses state-of-the-art filming techniques and presents a secret, awe-inspiring glimpse into the world of elephant, dolphin and polar bear babies as they develop in the womb. That’s because Ford’s bio-ethanol Flexifuel technology, which significantly lowers fossil CO2 emissions, has been formulated with the future of all of the next generation in mind.

Ford was the first vehicle manufacturer in Europe to offer production passenger vehicles with Flexifuel Vehicle (FFV) Technology.

At the 2007 International Geneva Motor Show, Ford was pleased to announce that it will extend its FFV range by offering Flexifuel versions of the new Mondeo, Galaxy and S-MAX in early 2008. Currently Focus and C-MAX FFVs are available in the UK.
