 GreenFleet Fuel Challenge
Highlighting fuel efficiency on April 11th at Silverstone Racetrack
The challenge to attract interest in low emission fuels and vehicles starts with engaging fleet managers in events which demonstrate and promote their performance. The GreenFleet fuel challenge is a unique event which sets out to see which vehicles are the greenest and offer the greatest economy. The event will take place on April 11th at Silverstone Racetrack as part of the GreenFleet Arrive ‘N’ Drive event. Vehicles are to be independently tested by Millbrook, with the results announced in the review issue GreenFleet magazine.
Manufacturers and other organisations can enter either Cars or Light Commercial's (LCVs) in four fuel categories - Petrol, Diesel, Autogas/LPG and Hybrid (HEV). Each manufacturer/team may enter a Car and LCV into each category.
This is not a race. This is a challenge to demonstrate the efficiency and the environmental benefits of choosing low carbon vehicles.
