Driver assessment, training and education

DriveTech offers a wide range of products to the corporate sector under its FleetSafe brand and has extensive experience in delivering a range of initiatives to reduce fleet running costs, improve driver safety and aid compliance with employee duty of care.

Apart from online driver risk assessments, driver licence checks, e-learning and company fleet audits, DriveTech provides a number of targetted training courses for cars, vans and other applications, many of which are aimed at reducing both fleet vehicle environmental impact and running cost.

The company was also the specialist training provider contracted to design, and deliver the ‘train the trainer’ activity for, the DfT-funded Safe and Efficient Driving (SAFED) programme, so has specific expertise in fuel efficiency training, as the following list confirms:

Full day course, integrating defensive driving with fuel economy techniques.

Economy Driving course
Both half and full day courses, focussing solely on realistic fuel economy driving techniques.

Fuel economy workshops
Interactive, educational group events that focus on fuel economy in all its guises.

Fuel economy ‘Pit Stop’ seminar
45 minutes mini workshop covering the key points in driving economically.

Both DriveTech’s Learner Driver and Driver CPC courses also contain fuel economy driving elements.
