Commended: Tesco Tesco have become the first company in the UK to run a fleet of battery powered zero emission home delivery vans in partnership with Modec. The new van technology with its space age design has the same capacity as a standard Tesco.com van, covering a range of over 100 miles before needing to be recharged and restricted to a maximum speed of 50 mph.
